Edgewood’s music program offers opportunities for all ages and abilities to learn and grow and enjoy making a joyful noise together. Edgewood’s program has a strong classical base with a lot of variety in the kinds of music that are a part of our worship service. All people are welcome to join in. No experience is necessary. Choirs rehearse from September through May each year. Childcare is available for all rehearsal times, if requested in advance.

The Adult Choir participates in most Sunday worship services except during the summer months of June - August. The selections range across the entire spectrum of choral music from all periods. The choir practices on Thursdays 7:30-9:00 PM and meets on Sunday mornings at 9 AM for warm-ups and to prepare for the day's service.
New singers are always welcome, even if you can't commit to every Thursday and Sunday. Please see Monty if you are interested or just need some encouragment!

Several times during the year Edgewood has special musical Sundays. Instrumental Sundays invite all members to bring any instrument and play along with the hymns. Once a year we celebrate worship through Jazz Sunday. Our adult choir offers a special cantata or other long piece of music in the spring. Throughout the summer our choirs take a break and members of the congregation offer their particular musical gifts from jazz to soloists to guitars and more.
