Congregation members make up Edgewood's leadership and vote to call pastors, decide policy, elect leaders, and pass the budget. The major business of the church is conducted at an annual congregational meeting with occasional additional meetings called for big decisions. The church council, comprising elected officers and at-large members, represents the congregation between annual meetings. Edgewood has a constitution, bylaws, and standing rules. Teams made up of congregation members work on specific aspects of church life and leadership.
