Pastor Liz has served at Edgewood since May of 2016. She is excited by Edgewood’s strong commitment to social justice, love of community, and love of God. Pastor Liz is passionate about helping people of all ages find meaning in their lives and anti-racism work. Each week she crafts worship that strives to be welcoming of all participants and shares the Good News of God’s love and grace. Having worked and volunteered for several years in summer camps, she is also committed to outdoor ministry and singing silly songs as often as possible.
Pastor Liz previously served for seven years at the Congregational Church in South Glastonbury, CT. She earned a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School in Boston, MA. and a BA in English from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. She grew up in California, and having lived all over the country, is thrilled to finally grow roots in East Lansing. Pastor Liz comes to us with her wife Beth, two cats, and a dog. On days off she enjoys biking, weaving, vegetarian cooking, and visiting National Parks.
