Pastor Greg (he\him) is a lifelong Michigander who has returned to his home state after spending the last three years in Vermont and Massachusetts. He has been a UCC parish minister and intentional interim minister for over 13 years and has also run a UCC camp and retreat center. He is passionate about the intersection of faith, social justice, and spirituality. Tara Downs (she/her) grew up in the area and has several special ties to Edgewood and the UCC. She is a member of Haslett Community Church. After graduating from Ferris State University, Tara and her husband moved back to the area to be closer to family. Roger David
Kamusta! (Hello!) I’m Roger (he/him) and am excited to be working with the wonderful musicians in the Adult Choir here at Edgewood! This fall, I’ll also be starting a doctorate program in choral conducting at MSU, Go Green! Much of my work lately has been in culturally informed learning in the choral setting and programming music of underrepresented people. I’m looking forward to how this can influence the choir at Edgewood!

JoAnn Hubbard
JoAnn began playing handbells in the 1950s and has been directing handbell choirs at Edgewood since 1987. She also sings in the choir and the women’s a cappella ensemble, and serves on several church committees. JoAnn is a former special education teacher.

Rye Na is Doctoral of Collaboration Piano at MSU. She has served over ten years as Pianist and as Organist in four different ministries serving churches in South Korea.

Nancy Elizabeth Lynn grew up in Mason, Michigan. She graduated from Mason High School and later obtained her bachelor’s degree from Spring Arbor University. She has been doing accounting work for over 35 years. Nancy raised two daughters, as a single parent, all three obtaining their degrees at the same time. Farid Rafizedeh
Farid has 18 years of experience in planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and managing all aspects and activities of small and large scale construction and civil projects from the beginning to completion, along with a Masters degree in civil engineering from Western Michigan University. He has a great desire to utilize his practical experience and academic degree to keep the Edgewood facilities in shape.
