Worship Every Sunday, 10:00am

Worship at Edgewood is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Most weeks worship contains prayers, music from a choir and songs we sing together, a children’s message, scripture, a sermon, an offering and time for reflection. The adult choir sings most weeks during the school year and offers a variety of music from Bach to gospel to folk. We also have bell choirs, an a capella group, and special guest musicians join worship throughout the year.

Everyone is invited to come to worship as they are. Some folks come in suits, some in jeans. Ties and tie-dyes are both welcome. Worship usually lasts about an hour.

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month. All people are welcome at our communion table: members, friends, first time visitors. It does not matter your gender, race, sexuality, ability, age, or socioeconomic status. It does not matter if you believe a lot, or believe a little, or aren’t sure what you believe. If you would like to participate in communion, you are welcome at our table.

Children and Youth (preschool – high school) are invited to participate in our year-round Sunday School classes. There is no need to register in advance, and parents are welcome to accompany their child the first time. Children and youth begin in worship with their families, and go to their classes together about fifteen minutes into the service. Children of all ages are always welcome to stay and participate in worship. Child care is available for infants and toddlers during church and during coffee hour after church. Our program is staffed by several exceptional childcare providers.
