Jan and Rick have been longtime leaders in our congregation, volunteering in leadership roles, with Justice & Peace projects, caring for our facilities through Buildings & Grounds, playing in the bell choir, and so much more over the years. They are also known for their hospitality and inviting folks over for dinner who might not have family nearby.
Why Edgewood?
When we came to East Lansing in 1985, we were looking for a progressive church which had both a local and global perspective. Our neighbors Bob and JoAnn Hubbard invited us and our two children to attend. Our girls grew up active in the Bell Choir, Youth Choir and Youth Programs.
What do you love about our church?
It is important to us that a percentage of our financial offering is set aside for outreach ministries. Also important is our welcome to the LGBTQ community. Edgewood serves as our extended family since we are both far from where we grew up.
