We welcome to Edgewood Church our new Interim Minister, the Reverend Dr. Robert K. Livingston (Bob), who will begin his ministry with us on Sunday, July 23.  Bob comes to us from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he was the Senior Minister of The First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor for twenty-five years.  Bob retired from FCC in June, 2022.

Bob is a life-long Michigander.  He grew up in the Grand Rapids area and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.  He earned graduate degrees from Western Theological Seminary  and Chicago Theological Seminary. Since his ordination in 1980, Bob has served churches in the Grand Rapids area, Comstock Park, and East Grand Rapids, before moving to Ann Arbor in 1997.

Bob comes to Edgewood Church with prior interim ministry experience, along with general ministry experience from serving a variety of congregations.  Bob looks forward to getting to know us over these next months, to working with us during this important time of pastoral transition, and to helping us clarify our purpose, vision, and needs as a congregation moving forward.

Bob will be commuting from the Ann Arbor area, but will be onsite and available weekly for worship, pastoral care, church administration, and transitional leadership.

We hope you will take the opportunity to get to know Bob over the time he is with us and feel free to call upon Bob should you need his help or guidance.
